In general, check-in counters open 3 to 3 1/2 hours prior scheduled international departure time.Check-in flight closure is set at 1 hour prior scheduled departure
For domestic departures, check-in time is set for one hour before departure. Flight Check-in close 20 minutes before the scheduled take-off.
Only Air Tahiti domestic airline offers check-in kiosks terminals departing from Tahiti-Faa’a.
This service is available as of 25 minutes to 16 hours prior your scheduled interisland flight departure time. You may go directly to the boarding gate and present your boarding pass if you do not have checked baggage.
If you choose this check-in method but do have luggage, you will need to go to the domestic check-in counter to drop off your luggage which will be registered by a check-in agent.
Some airlines do propose online check-in. Don’t hesitate to check their website.
If you choose this method and need to check-in baggage, please go to the Drop Off counter agent.
For Air Tahiti domestic flights, online check-in is open up to 16 hours prior to flight schedule until 1 hour before the scheduled departure time.
Please note: online registration is only available on certain islands. Please visit the company’s website
Online registration cannot include:
➢ Passengers with a baby
➢ Passengers in need of special assistance (Unaccompanied children (UM), accompanying animal, passenger with reduced mobility, etc.)
NB: It is imperative that passengers take sufficient time for baggage drop off at the correct dedicated counter in time for transport to the boarding gate.
